Acid and alkali resistant gloves should be able to be used at 45°C in sulphuric acid (density 1.32) or in caustic soda solution (density 1.19). Electrical insulation gloves are divided into two types: high voltage and low voltage. High voltage can be used below 6000 volts (test voltage is 12000 volts). Low voltage can be used at up to 1000 volts. Medical gloves are divided into two types: glossy and woolen (woolen or wrinkled gloves).

By material

Latex gloves, usually used in professional settings, such as operating theatres, laboratories and other places with high requirements for hygiene, have the advantage of being somewhat elastic and more durable, but are not resistant to animal grease corrosion and are easily corroded by contact with animal grease, and more importantly, according to statistics 2%-17% of people will have varying degrees of allergy to latex.
